CyrusOne NVA1 – Sterling

NVA1 is the first building on CyrusOne's Ridgetop Circle campus in Sterling, Loudoun County, and the building where CyrusOne started in Northern Virginia. Construction began in April 2014 on a shell of 124,000 sq ft, later described at 146,000 sq ft, with 60,000 sq ft of raised floor and 12 MW of critical load planned for this phase; the first 30,000 sq ft of colocation went live in December 2014 and 37,000 sq ft was online by January 2015, ahead of the May 2015 open house. CyrusOne operates NVA1 with NVA2 and NVA3 as a single 44 MW, 420,000 sq ft campus, so this building shares the campus N+1 central plant, N+2 air side and 200 W per sq ft design density. SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA and ISO 27001 cover the campus, and nine networks plus MegaIX Ashburn and CyrusOne IX are reachable from a cabinet or a hall in NVA1.
