CyrusOne's Pacific Boulevard campus at 21350 Pacific Blvd in Sterling, Loudoun County, occupies a 40-acre plot bought in 2016, where ground broke on 11 December 2016 for a 654,000 sq ft first building then called Sterling V. The campus now totals 1,177,019 sq ft of technical IT space and 116 MW of IT capacity across two three-story buildings carrying the NVA5, NVA6 and NVA7 designations, with 35 ft ceilings, a 36-inch raised white floor and Class-A office space. The 2016 design set 2N power and densities up to 900 W per sq ft; cooling is closed-loop chilled water from multiple 500-ton Trane air-cooled chillers and 100-ton Stulz CRAH units with EC variable-speed fans, in a zero-water design, and ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 are certified at campus level. Two networks and two exchanges, MegaIX Ashburn and CyrusOne IX, meet on the campus, and a buyer can take cabinets, a hall or a full floor in either building.
