EdgeConneX MEM01 at 4005 South Mendenhall Road is a 16,700 sq ft facility six miles from Memphis International Airport with 5,633 sq ft of raised floor for tenant racks. In June 2019 Comcast Business and Megaport switched on cloud access from this building, giving Memphis tenants local paths to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud and Alibaba Cloud. Its 5,633 sq ft of floor is rated for 20 kW per cabinet and 600 W per sq ft, cooled by N+1 CRACs in separate suites through a 30-inch underfloor plenum, with N+1 PDU, UPS and generator chains that are concurrently maintainable and branch circuits metered in real time. The EPA has certified MEM01 ENERGY STAR. Six networks are on site, among them Arelion, AT&T, Cogent, Comcast, Lumen, Uniti and Zayo, entering through diverse points of entry to physically separate meet-me rooms. Cabinets and caged space are available, with remote hands from the 24/7 NOC.
