Nebraska's first Google data centre is at 14706 Schram Road in Papillion, built in 2019 on 275 acres of Sarpy County for a reported $600 million. It employed about 120 people by 2022, the year Google announced further investment here alongside its new Douglas County site, and a $1.2 billion Nebraska package followed in 2023. Omaha Public Power District supplies the campus. Google publishes no building count, floor area or capacity figure for Papillion. The site should not be confused with Council Bluffs, a separate campus across the Missouri River in Pottawattamie County, Iowa; Meta's own Sarpy County campus lies about ten miles away.
