QTS Irving DC5
6300 Longhorn Drive, Irving, TX, 75063, US
QTS Irving DC5 is a 264,400 sq ft data center on previously undeveloped land at 6300 Longhorn Drive, across the road from the original QTS Irving campus, registered on 4 October 2023 as a $180 million project designed by Corgan with construction scheduled from April 2024 to September 2025. That filing replaced a 2022 plan for a 337,190 sq ft building on the same parcel and covers office, storage and critical power support spaces plus a screened equipment yard. It is the first of two buildings QTS has filed at 6300 Longhorn, ahead of the 210,755 sq ft DC6 shell registered in March 2024. Power comes from the campus's QTS-owned substation, and the redundant campus conduit system carries express fiber to the building, putting the campus's 17 networks and three exchanges a cross-connect away. No capacity, density or certification is attested for DC5 itself. A buyer can pre-lease dedicated halls here as the building comes into service.
