SDC Manhattan
375 Pearl St, New York, NY, 10038, US
SDC Manhattan is Sabey's data center inside 375 Pearl Street, the 32-storey former Verizon switching tower in Lower Manhattan that Sabey bought a majority stake in for $120 million in June 2011. Data center space covers 222,000 sq ft across seven floors of the 1 million sq ft building, drawing on 18 MW of aggregate campus power from an on-site substation, with 6 MW of generators running 72 hours at peak; the July 2021 $250 million refinancing recorded 5.7 MW of built capacity. Cooling comes from three 1,000-ton towers and two 600-ton chillers with 270,000 gallons of reserve water, and each suite has its own redundant mechanical plant. The building holds SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS attestations. Eight networks and DE-CIX New York meet here, with AT&T, Cogent, Crown Castle, Lumen, PacketFabric and Spectrum on net. Buyers take colocation cabinets, private suites, whole data halls or powered shell.
