SDC Ashburn – Building B
21745 Red Rum, Ashburn, VA, 20147, US
SDC Ashburn Building B is the two-story, 23 MW second building on Sabey's Intergate campus at 21741 Red Rum Drive, designed in 2018 as eight data halls of 21,000 sq ft and 2.85 MW apiece after the single-story quadrant layout of Building C. Its generators are 2.25 MW units with 48 hours of run time at peak load, and its halls are cooled by a chilled-water plant with CRAH units, the only chilled-water system on the campus. The hall design sums to 22.8 MW, carried as 23 MW on the current cut sheet. Five networks reach the building through the campus meet-me rooms, with Cogent, Crown Castle, Fiberlight, PacketFabric and Zayo on net over dual fiber entries, and the Ashburn site's SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS audits apply to its halls. Dedicated halls of 2.85 MW with their own redundant mechanical systems are the unit of sale in this building.
