VAN2 sits two blocks from Harbour Centre at 1050 West Pender and works as Cologix's enterprise-grade annex to the Vancouver carrier hotel. Fifteen thousand square feet carry 2 MW, and a dedicated dark-fiber ring runs into the VAN1 meet-me room so tenants reach the 555 West Hastings ecosystem without leaving the Cologix footprint. It is also a primary node of the Vancouver Internet Exchange, and by networks actually present it is the densest of Cologix's Vancouver sites — Amazon, Cloudflare, Fastly and TELUS are among the operators here. The cooling design is built for the climate: 180 tons of N+1 free-cooling CRAC with airside economizers, chimney cabinets and a ceiling plenum, which lets the plant run on Vancouver's ambient air for much of the year. UPS is customer-selectable between N and A+B, with N+1 generators and automatic transfer on both utility feeds.
