VAN5 is Cologix's newest Vancouver suite, 10,800 square feet across two rooms in Harbour Centre at 555 West Hastings, acquired from Cyxtera in December 2023 and now carrying 1.6 MW. It sits in the same building as VAN1 but is a separate facility with its own power and cooling plant, which is what makes the pair useful together: a tenant can take diverse suites inside the metro's primary carrier hotel without a second building or a metro-fiber hop between them. The Vancouver Internet Exchange is present. Power runs N+1 on APC Symmetra PX UPS and cooling is N+1 glycol-cooled direct expansion on rooftop dry coolers. The suite has its own breakout rooms, boardroom, kitchen and dedicated customer work area, and it is about twenty-five minutes from Vancouver International. Construction is concrete and steel, with biometric and HID badge access and CCTV throughout.
