CyrusOne PHX1 – Chandler
2335 South Ellis St., Chandler, AZ, 85286, US
PHX1 is the first building on CyrusOne's Chandler campus at 2335 South Ellis Road, broken ground in May 2012 and completed in February 2013 as a 147,000 sq ft structure with 74,000 sq ft of colocation floor, a 35,000 sq ft office block and a V-shaped roof that collects rainwater. Its critical load appears at two figures, 16 MW at the end of 2018 and 12 MW at the end of 2020, and 31,000 sq ft of powered shell inside the building was still unbuilt at the later date. PHX1 carries a Green Globes three-Globe award on top of the campus SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS and HIPAA program, and 16 networks plus the Ninja-IX Phoenix exchange meet on the campus. The building was fully leased within 18 months of opening, so a buyer takes cabinets here as they turn over, with the unbuilt shell as the route to a larger footprint.
