Av. Ferdinand de Lesseps (MRS6)
Av. Ferdinand de Lesseps, Bouc Bel Air, 13320, FR
MRS6 is Digital Realty's sixth Marseille facility and the first away from the port estate, planned for Bouc-Bel-Air on the site of a former Decathlon logistics warehouse north of the city. The design covers 20,000 sq m of IT space and 50 MW of IT capacity across seven data halls on two floors, on a 10.7-hectare plot. Cooling is free-cooling based, using fifty-six chillers charged with R-1234ze, a low global-warming-potential refrigerant, and water consumption is budgeted at just over 2,050 cubic metres a year. Construction starts in 2026 for delivery in 2028, and heat recovery is being studied with local authorities rather than committed. It is the largest single block of Marseille capacity Digital Realty has announced, and it is forward capacity rather than space available now.
