CloudHQ MCC1
10880 Airman Ave, Manassas, VA, 20112, US
MCC1 is a 460,000 sq ft data center at 10880 Airman Avenue in the Manassas Corporate Center, the first building on CloudHQ's MCC campus and the home of its network operations center. It opened in August 2017 with 43 MW of completed capacity, 35 MW leased to a single anchor tenant and 8 MW held for multi-tenant deployments, including a low-resiliency zone with no UPS or generator backing for cold-storage workloads; a second account from the same month puts the total at 45 MW. Backup power comes from 28 Cummins generators with 200,000 gallons of fuel in four tanks, 48 hours of runtime, fed through an ISO-parallel medium-voltage design that isolates each tenant from faults. Cooling is waterless: 152 rooftop Kyoto Cooling heat-wheel units of 400 kW each, with a design PUE below 1.2. FiberLight is on net, and the multi-tenant halls let a buyer take the same plant as the anchor tenant without a full-building commitment.
