Equinix DC3 is a single-storey standalone IBX at 44470 Chilum Place in Ashburn, set apart from the Filigree Court cluster but tied to the rest of the Equinix campus through Campus Cross Connects and Metro Connect. It is the only Equinix Washington DC IBX publishing N+2 across UPS, generators and cooling, with 30+ hours of generator fuel at full load, on a 67,038 sq ft colocation floor at a 4 kVA minimum cabinet density. Equinix leased the roughly 100,000 sq ft building from DuPont Fabros around the end of 2003. The AWS Direct Connect range covering DC1–DC6 and DC10–DC12 and the Google Cloud Interconnect range covering DC1–DC15 and DC21 both include it. Buyers take Secure Cabinet Express, Private Cage or Flex Space with Fabric, Fabric Cloud Router and Equinix Internet Exchange on site.
