Ashburn VA6 at 44495 Gigabit Plaza is a two-story building on NTT's 78-acre Ashburn campus designed for 24 MW of critical IT load, announced at 188,000 sq ft when Clark Construction broke ground in May 2022 and delivered at 180,000 sq ft. Phase one reached substantial completion on schedule in August 2023, and the remaining IT capacity was built out through mid-2024. Its emergency plant of 16 Cummins generators at 3.25 MW each plus one 1.5 MW house unit was permitted by Virginia DEQ on November 17, 2022. Corgan Associates and kW Engineering designed the building. Unlike VA1 through VA5 and VA7, VA6 has no public data sheet, so hall count, rack density and cooling design are not available for this building. Capacity here is sold at vault and whole-building scale.
