Ashburn VA7 at 44371 Gigabit Plaza is the seventh building on NTT's Ashburn campus, with 125,000 sq ft of data floor and 36 MW of critical IT load at full build-out across six 6 MW vaults of about 21,150 sq ft each. Virginia DEQ issued the construction permit for its 24 Cummins QSK95 generators, 3.25 MW apiece, on July 11, 2025, listing the building as still to be constructed. Each vault runs N+1 redundancy with four 2 MW UPS modules per 6 MW and dual-corded distribution. Cooling uses air-cooled chillers with airside economizers, fan-coil walls and hot-aisle containment on a closed water loop, rated to 22 kW per rack. Three fiber entries and two meet-me rooms are planned. At 36 MW it carries 4 MW more than VA4 or VA5 and 12 MW more than VA6, and it is sold in cages, suites and whole 6 MW vaults.
