Serverfarm Vienna DC2
7990 Quantum Dr, Vienna, VA, 22182, US
Two 1970s office blocks at 7980 and 7990 Quantum Drive, the Tysons Technology Center, are to come down for a two-building data centre campus in Vienna, Fairfax County. Serverfarm affiliates bought them in October 2025 for roughly $13m and $37m from Legacy Investing and Element Critical, and filed a proffered condition amendment and special exception with the county in February 2026 under the entity SF DC1 LLC; the site's athletic field, Quantum Field, went to Fairfax County. Phase one, NVA1, occupies the 95,015 sq ft parcel at 7980 and is specified at 15 MW of IT load over two floors and two halls, at a design PUE of 1.35, with water-free air-cooled chillers and a distributed-redundant topology. Phase two, NVA2, sits on the 221,215 sq ft parcel at 7990. Equinix DC7 stands next door at 7790 Quantum Drive, and the original MAE-East exchange point was about 500 m away.
